Jane Stevenson

A little about Jane – I grew up in the St. Louis, MO area – specifically Belleville, Illinois, across the Mississippi river from St. Louis where my father was born and raised. Absolutely I was Midwestern.

I have two grown children – one daughter and one son. My daughter lives in the Tampa area with her husband and my only grandson, who is currently enrolled in college in Ft. Myers, Florida. My son lives in Louisville, KY, where he was born and raised and works for himself as a business consultant.

During college, I worked for a company that provided tuition reimbursement, and worked during the day while attending classes in the evening, receiving a B.A. and eventually an MBA.

I retired in 2011 from employment with a government contractor controlled by the
Department of Defense. I taught computer applications to the war planners of the various services, and had the opportunity to travel across the U.S.A. and around Europe.

Upon retirement, I found myself loving the weather in Florida, and I am currently truly a Southern Bell.
